Gabriela Henner. Mistress of Monsters.

A doodle on my symphonic band music in high school, and there it was. My first monster. Years later, as I trekked across the world and lived among various different cultures, I experimented with new techniques in paintings and in journals. Upon my return to the United States, I found comfort in creating art, and became increasingly obsessed with the idea of a world in which monsters and humans live alongside one another.

I am currently honing my skills in a variety of mediums (acrylic, watercolor, clay sculpture). The content of this website is not only unique in its techniques, but also in the stories that lie behind each work of art.
